Children's Supervised Contact
Hope Family Cottage is a privately owned and operated Children’s Contact Service, proudly supporting families across the Central Coast of NSW.
We provide
professional supervised contact visits in safe, child-friendly community settings or within client homes
(where assessed as suitable).
Our service helps children remain safely connected with a parent they no longer live with following family separation - particularly in cases where safety concerns exist, where there has been a period without contact, or where court orders require supervision by a qualified third party.
Our focus is on helping children and their parent(s) build or maintain a secure and positive relationship through guided support, resources, and meaningful interactions. We aim to assist families to eventually transition to safe, unsupervised, self-managed contact arrangements, while also supporting parents to develop more effective co-parenting skills along the way.
Our service is also available to extended family members, such as grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, where supported contact is in the child’s best interest.
All visits are supervised by our
highly experienced, qualified staff,
who remain neutral, respectful, and committed to ensuring each child’s safety, well-being, and emotional needs are always the top priority.
Child & Strengths Focused
The needs and wants of your child/children are paramount. We help parents to build upon their strengths in order to establish and maintain a positive relationship with their child/children.

Detailed Reporting
We provide a detailed report for every contact visit and change over that takes place and provide copies to both parents as well as their Solictors/Lawyers and Independent Children's Lawyers (if appointed).
Safe, Private & Neutral
Our services are private, safe and neutral. We won't make you stand out in public, will protect your privacy and will never take sides.

Friendly & Non-Judgemental
We will not judge or criticise you. Our staff are neutral and unbiased and not here to place blame on anyone. We know there are always two sides to every story and realise there is no such thing as a perfect parent.
Qualified and Experienced Staff
Our staff are appropriately qualified to work with families & children, are highly experienced, Police Checked, have valid Working with Children Checks & hold current First Aid Certificates.
Fun Games and Activities
We can provide games, crafts and activities for children and parents to play and interact together with if needed. There is no need to bring any of these things with you, unless you (or your child/children want to of course!).
